Welcome to WhoopTee Roundup, where this week we run down a few holidays coming up and how they relate to buying custom t-shirts online. These holidays are fun, special days you should go out of your way to observe.

Cinco de Cuatro

Today is a wonderful, festive holiday. Time with good friends is a requirement. Margaritas are encouraged. Dancing in the street is acceptable (do watch out for cars though). Today, after all, is Cinco de Cuatro. Wait, what? Yes, Cinco de Cuatro is a made-up holiday from the wonderful Arrested Development. The story goes, back in the day the notoriously evil George and Lucile Bluth started Cinco de Cuatro to steal Cinco de Mayo’s thunder. If you’re a fan of the show, why not celebrate? If you’re not a fan, an excuse to have fun on a Friday is never a bad idea. In fact, we encourage you to celebrate whatever fiction holiday you feel.

Cinco de Mayo

Ah, here it is! This is the real holiday, the main event if you will. Cinco de Mayo is tomorrow, and you had better be ready for festivities. Most people think of Cinco as Mexican Independence Day, but that is not the case. It is in fact the celebration of a victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. In the US, the day has become a celebration of Mexican culture.

Didn’t order a custom t-shirt? Sorry pal, better get a jump on next year! You can design a custom t-shirt for any holiday and get it shipped for free in two weeks. You just have to get an early start. Speaking of holidays, there’s one you really don’t want to forget…

Mother’s Day

If you’re looking for the perfect Mother’s Day gift for the mother in your life, look no further than a custom tee. A custom t-shirt can be anything you want it to be: funny, kind, heartfelt, preferably all of the above in this case. While you’re too late to have a t-shirt in hand on Mother’s Day, it’s not too late to design a custom tee and print it out. You can give that printout and the promise that the shirt is on the way as a gift. If your Mother lives far away, you can also email the design to her before the shirt arrives.
