Here is a winning idea to turn the crisp air of a fall in your favor with a fun, energetic fundraiser. At the time of year when most fundraisers are inside out of necessity, embrace one of the few games where being covered up is an actual asset: paintball. Laser tag is fun, don’t get us wrong, but it pales in comparison to the real-life tactics and stakes of a good ole’ fashion paintball skirmish. With that in mind, when you’re planning your next fundraiser, don’t sleep on having a paintball tournament. Here are a couple of ways you can do just that:

Contact Local Paintball Parks

By far the easiest way to pull off a paintball fundraiser is to contact your local paintball parks and see who will give you the best group rates or packages. Not only are these parks designed with paintball in mind, with obstacles, courses, and other amenities, but they often offer gun rentals and pellets for those who want to participate but don't have their own gear. Plus, many of these places will assist in promoting your event, because the more funds you raise, the more games of paintball you sell, the more they make as well.

Set Up Your Own Field

If your organization has a wooded property, a field, any large patch of land, or even one that you would be allowed to use for a day, you could conceivably set up your own paintball course. You’ll want to set up some plywood or old furniture, or any other land masses you can find to erect cheap obstacles for cover. The beauty of this setup is that you don't have to worry about paying a course and can keep all the proceeds to yourself. Have your donors and volunteers supply the obstacles. The biggest drawback, aside from the difficulty of setting up the park, is that you won’t have guns available to rent. If you get enough serious teams interested, though, that won’t be an issue as they will have their own guns.

Get Custom T-Shirts

Not only should you get custom t-shirts for your event staff to wear, you should have them ready to sell or raffle off as a way to raise extra funds. With WhoopTee, you have many, many different options for not only custom t-shirts, but for custom hoodies to keep your staff and guests warm during a fall paintball tournament. Be sure to share WhoopTee with teams that enter, as they can get matching team t-shirts that don’t require a minimum order.
